Alumni weekend 2011
Alumni Weekend at Wyandot August 17-19, 2012.
Come spend a weekend at Camp Wyandot. Sleep in your old cabin on cabin row. Take the long walk to Egypt. Sing songs in the dining hall. Join in the Venetian sing. Bring your family and friends and enjoy the beauty of Camp Wyandot with other Camp Fire alumni. Come by yourself or get a group of Camp Fire friends together and share a cabin. You will surely meet friends you know. All meals are prepared by our cooks for you. Come for one meal or stay the whole weekend, Friday night to Sunday breakfast. Hope to see you there! Questions? Can you please share with me all the information you have so far regarding the Alumni Weekend at Wyandot, Aug. 19-21, 2011. I’d especially be interested in knowing the best times for arrival on Fri. 8/19 and departure on Sun. 8/21 as I’ll be needing to schedule my flights in and out of Columbus as soon as possible. Thanks.

PS: I was a Junior Counselor @ Camp Wyandot… as “Shutu”…. for several weeks the summer of either 1960 or 1961….can’t remember for sure. My 2 best buddies: Sally Hoeflinger and Linda Hassel were there at the same time. We had such a grand adventure. It would be great fun to be there together again.

For those dear people who are making airplane reservations, what is the approximate start time on Friday night – before supper (what time) or after supper? Looking forward to it!

We meet in the dining hall about 9:00 PM, no program, just to get together and talk about the weekend. Hope that helps!
Great to have you come! Friday people arrive at different times. We meet about 9PM, which I am usually late for. Sunday most leave right after breakfast. We have reflection, the modern word for church! And many of us go to that. So I would say by 11 or 12 Sunday most people have left but some stay on to enjoy camp.
